NUS
Making surgical procedures friendlier
BACKGROUND
The Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at National University of Singapore (NUS) partnered with us to develop surgical tools. Grommet tube placement surgery traditionally has to be done under general anaesthetic which has brought fear to some patients as it is performed near their brain. Closely collaborating with an ENT specialist, we brought our design expertise to ease discomfort and fears for the procedure.

WHAT WE DELIVERED
- Designed sleek ergonomics and aesthetics which create calm to allow the surgeon more confidence in the tool as well as reduce anxiety in the patient.
- Developed a safe delivery system based on the precision mechanics required for the procedure.
